GPS Surveys provide real time coordinates to Ordnance Survey National Grid anywhere in the UK

GPS equipment enables us to provide spatial data to Ordnance Survey National Grid and other International coordinate systems.

Digital Maps from the Ordnance Survey can be integrated and enhanced by our Survey Data to provide mapping over large areas costs effectively.

GPS and traditional ground survey methods are easily merged to form a complete survey fast and efficiently.

Leica Geo-office software, and post processing via the Ordnance Survey’s active network online, enables our surveys to be linked to National Grid Co-ordinates or any other grid system as required by the client.

River Profiling, Flood Mapping, Beach Monitoring, Landfill surveys, Ground Modelling, Photo-control, Topographical surveys and setting out all benefit from using GPS equipment.

The existing Ordnance Survey Bench Mark system, which provides a network of datums throughout the UK, is no longer fully maintained, and so over time surveys levelled to this datum will not provide accurate level values. GPS is independent of this static datum, and is not affected by tidal loading, earth movements, or localised subsidence.

The Environment Agency now stipulates that all surveys carried out on their behalf are levelled using GPS derived data.
